Introduction to Sex Toys

Hi! Thank you so much for attending my Introduction to Sex Toys workshop. If you didn’t attend the workshop but found yourself here anyway, welcome! Below, you’ll find resources mentioned in the presentation: a list of ethical feminist sex shops, information about sex toy safety, essays I’ve written about sex toy company ethics, and at the end of the resource list, ways to get in touch with me. I’ll update this resource list as needed, so be sure to check back for more! If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.

Resources about body-safe sex toys and lube:

Dangerous Lilly’s Toxic Toy Reference Guide and Big Lube Guide: two incredible, comprehensive resources full of pages and pages of posts all about body-safe sex toys and lube. This is your one-stop shop for product safety information!

My post on how advocating for body-safe sex toys is health justice

I am always available as a resource to help you determine if your sex toys and lube are safe and/or to help you shop for body-safe products. All sex toy consultations are completely confidential! Get in touch via email or through my contact form.

Where to shop for sex toys:

Vibrant and SheVibe are my two most-trusted online, feminist, ethical sex toy retailers. Both are gender-inclusive and queer and trans-affirming, and part of Vibrant’s proceeds go to fund their local Planned Parenthood. You can feel good about supporting these two! As always, contact me if you’d like help navigating their sites.
